Human beings are blessed with five special senses and vision is most precious. Because vision impairment is a common and inevitable debility among the aged, it is greatest fear of the old age. Dr. Vaishali S. Pawar, currently working as Assistant Professor in Dept. of Biochemistry, KIMSDU, Karad. She has done her M.B.B.S. from DYPMC Pimpri, Pune and M.D. Biochemistry from KIMSDU, Karad. She has also done D.O.M.S. from YCMH Pimpri. She has a medical teaching experience in Ophthalmology since 2006 and in Biochemistry since 2015 in KIMSDU, Karad. She also has clinical experience in Ophthalmology for almost 14 years. Her educational background in Ophthalmology and Biochemistry has given her a broad base for approach to this topic. He is also laboratory Director of NABL accredited laboratory (KIMS Diagnostics, Karad). He has been teacher in various medical colleges with vast medical teaching experience since 1977. He is a recognized guide for M.D. and Ph D students.
