Dr. Ashwini A

Dr Ashwini A is a final year post graduate student in Department of Oral Pathology at JSS Dental college and hospital, Mysuru. During her post graduate training, she has actively participated in academic presentations, journal clubs and research projects which inspired her to do compile this book. She has also presented numerous scientific presentations at various conferences. Her goal is to make this book accessible to researchers, students and clinicians, providing them with a practical and comprehensive resource.

Dr. Usha Hegde

Dr. Usha Hegde is a seasoned academician with over 27 years of teaching experience in the field of Oral Pathology and Microbiology. She has played a pivotal role in dental education, teaching undergraduate students and guiding postgraduate and Ph.D. scholars through their academic and research journeys. A dedicated faculty member at JSS Dental College & Hospital, Mysuru, Dr. Hegde has served the institution in various academic and administrative capacities, including more than two decades as the Head of the Department. Her leadership and commitment have significantly contributed to the department's growth and academic excellence. Dr. Hegde has an impressive academic portfolio, with over 110 publications in reputed journals, contributions to several books, completed research projects, and a patent to her credit. Her core research interests lie in Oral Precancer and Cancer and the Oral Microbiome, areas in which she continues to make impactful contributions.

Dr Priyanka Nitin

Dr Priyanka Nitin has an experience of more than 13 years. equips herself with the latest knowledge in the field of Oral Pathology& Microbiology by attending conferences, training programms, hands on workshops, CDE programmes annually. Knowledge is achieved by scientific presentations; publications. She uses the gained knowledge to creatively teach students for better understanding of the subject with the intent of clinical application. she also has 2 patents.

Dr Sreeshyla H S

An academician, passionate teacher and zealous oral pathologist associated with JSS Dental College & Hospital, a constituent college of JSS AHER. Has a teaching experience of 15 years. With keen interest in research likes to imbibe and upgrade with the scientific knowledge, involve in research and contribute to the scientific literature. Has 62 national and international publications at peer reviewed indexed journals and has presented numerous scientific presentations at various conferences. Has been awarded with best scientific presentation awards and is been the resource personnel and guest speaker. Has guided students for ICMR projects.
