Dr. K. Girija

DR. K. Girija is a Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Mother Theresa Post Graduate and Research Institute of Health Sciences (A Government of Puducherry Institution), Gorimedu, Puducherry. She has to her credit thirty two years of Teaching and Research experience at Diploma, Undergraduate and Post Graduate level. Professor DR.K.Girija has an excellent track record in Academic, Research and Administration. She has been actively engaged in Teaching, Research work and Administration, is very much dedicated to her service in the profession. She has organized various ICMR and DSTE sponsored conferences/ seminars/workshops at her institution. She has to her credit more than 45 research papers in highly reputed National and International Journals. She has presented various research papers in reputed National and International conferences and won the best paper award. She has guided several UG, PG (more than 60 students) and has guided three Ph.D students from various reputed universities and guiding four students from Pondicherry University. She has won the University Gold Medal in M.Pharmacy from The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University (Government University), B.Pharmacy from the Madras Medical College, Madras University, completed Ph.D. from Madras Medical College under the Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai. She is the life member of several Professional bodies like APTI, IPGA, IHPA, AIC, FICCE (International Professional body), and also life member of Indian Red Cross Society, Puducherry. She is Board member in UG and PG Pharmacy studies, Pondicherry University. She is also a chairman and member in various institutional bodies. She has received grants from Indian council of Medical Research (ICMR) and Department of Science, Technology and Environment (DSTE), Puducherry. She is a member in AICTE, PCI and NBA.

DR.K.Hemalatha

DR.K.Hemalatha, presently working as an Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Mother Theresa Post Graduate and Research Institute of Health Sciences (A Government of Puducherry Institution), Gorimedu, Puducherry. She has completed her B.Pharm. and M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) from Mother Theresa Post Graduate and Research Institute of Health Sciences (AGovernment of Puducherry Institution), Gorimedu, Puducherry. She has Won Pondicherry University Gold Medal in M.Pharm. She has completed her Ph.D from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai. She has thirteen years of Teaching and ten years of Research experience. She has published more than twenty publications in various reputed National and International Journals. She has presented research papers in various National conferences and received the best paper award. She is guiding UG and PG research projects. She has involved in co-organizing ICMR conference and various seminars and conferences at her institution. She is a member in various committee in her institution
