He got his MD Forensic Medicine & Toxicology in 2004 from Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. He did his PhD in Forensic Medicine from IMS, BHU, Varanasi in 2015. He has 90 journal papers on his name and has Dr. D J Mukherjee Memorial Contest Award conducted by IMA Banaras Branch in his name.
