Dr.S.Nithya

Dr. S. Nithya is a Professor in the Department of Pharmacology, Dr. MGR Educational & Research Institute, Tamil Nadu (India). She perceived her Ph. D in subject of Neuropharmacology from Vels Institute of Science Technology & Advanced Studies (VISTAS). She is fascinated in carrying out Preclinical studies in rodents and have 10 years of research experience and have a good hands-on training in handling and performing animal experimental studies. She has performed various studies involving animals like Pain, Neuropathy, Inflammation, Dementia and Cataract and further She has a research interest in carrying out amino acid involving Neuropharmacological Studies. She is actively involving in writing chapters and papers for various academic books & Journals. She has been active in publishing and presenting research work in national and International Arena.
