Dr. Shailanathan is a dedicated postgraduate in the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry at Adhiparasakthi Dental College and Hospital. He has a strong academic foundation with keen interests in emerging advancements in pediatric dental care, , prevalence of malocclusion and oral habits among children in rural and special populations ,restorative techniques, as well as rotary and regenerative endodontics. His research focuses particularly on the digital dentistry. Dr. Shailanathan has actively contributed to the academic community by presenting papers and posters at various national and international conferences, showcasing his commitment to evidence-based clinical practice and innovation. Beyond his academic pursuits, he is an active cricketer, avid traveller, and passionate foodie. Professor Dr. A. VasanthaKumari, BSc, MDS, MBA, PGMLE, is a renowned academician and clinician with over 30 years of experience in Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry. She has served in prominent roles at leading institutions, including Rajah Muthiah Dental College, Mahatma Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Sri Ramachandra University, Best Dental Science College, and currently as Professor and Head at Adhiparasakthi Dental College and Hospital. She has over 51 publications in indexed journals, has guided 50+ research projects, and contributed to two WHO-funded studies. Dr. VasanthaKumari is the author of Common Syndromes in Children and serves as a reviewer for various journals. A sought-after speaker and session chair at national and international conferences, she has received multiple honors, including the FDI Excellence Award and Lifetime Achievement recognition. She is a lifetime member of the Indian Society of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry, Indian Dental Association, and Indian Society of Dental Traumatology.
