DR AJAY GIRI

DR AJAY GIRI is an Oral and Maxillofacial Pathologist with a BDS from Shri. Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Medical and Rural Development Foundation 's Dental College, Ahmednagar (2009-2015), and an MDS from D.Y. Patil Deemed to be University ,School of Dentistry, Navi Mumbai (2016-2019). His thesis focused on "Immunohis tochemical assessment of expression of myofibroblast using alpha smooth muscle actin in dental follicle & its comparison with histo-pathological parameters using H & E staining." He has a keen interest in the field, evidenced by his participation in various national and international symposiums, conventions, and conferences. After completing a compulsory rotational internship, Dr. Giri worked as an associate dentist in a private clinic for 3.5 years. He also gained entrepreneurial experience by running his own dental clinic, Matoshree dental clinic, in Wagholi, Pune, for 2 years. Additionally, he contributed to the fight against COVID-19 by working with the Bharatiy Jain Sanghatana for covid camps.He served as a junior medical officer at NMMC. Currently he is a owner of “DR AJAY DISHA’S dental clinic and implant centre” at pune . Dr. Giri possesses a diverse skill set, including good diagnostic abilities using clinical knowledge and X-rays, excellent theoretical knowledge, and strong verbal and written communication skills. He is well-versed in clinical practice and protocols and demonstrates the ability to handle patients effectively. Moreover, he is f lexible, adaptable, and extremely motivated towards his career. DR. SANDHYA TAMGADGE

DR. SANDHYA TAMGADGE, MDS, is currently a professor with 25 years of teaching experience ,in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at DY Patil Deemed to be University School of Dentistry, Nerul Navi Mumbai. She completed her BDS and MDS from the Government Dental College and Hospital, Nagpur in 1998. She has a special interest in teaching students and patient education as a responsibility of the fraternity. She is always eager to learn new interdisciplinary skills and known for her innovative skills. She has been invited as a guest speaker on various platforms to share her interdisciplinary skills. Dr. Tamgadge has received more than 778 citations. She has also co-authored many books. She has received prizes at the national and international levels. She is an eminent researcher, YouTuber, medical animator, and has also done a one-month basic course in Indian Sign Language. Her publication on 3D animation has been featured as the cover page of the international journal "Journal of Microscopy and Ultrastructure". She is known for her tooth carving skills and has a YouTube channel that has reached more than 4,701 subscribers. She has been recognized as the most encouraging and active teacher, guiding her undergraduate and postgraduate students in various research endeavors. Dr. Tamgadge has national and international patents and copyrights to her credit. She has published a hypothesis on caries etiology, which was highly appreciated in a DCI webinar. She has also extended her work on caries research and collaborated with IIT Bombay. She is an active member of IAOMP, IAOP, INPAFO, and IDA.
