Dr.P.Sivasankar

Dr P.Sivasankar , is working as Professor in the Department of Electrical Electronics and Communication Engineering, NITTTR, Chennai since 2006. He has obtained his Ph.d Degree from Anna University in the area of Wireless sensor networks. He has organised nearly 200 Training programmes in the areas of Sensor Applications using Raspberry Pi, Arduino and myRIO, Wireless and Mobile Communications, Advanced Digital System Design, Advanced Digital Signal Processing, VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, Advanced Communication systems, Matlab and LabView and Outcome Based Education. Coordinated around 5 Overseas Trainee Progammes; Published 2 Books during 2015 and 2019 respectively; Total number of Publications is 36 which includes Book chapters, National and International Conferences and Journals; Received 2 Best paper awards; Members in IEEE, and various IEEE Societies, ACM and CSI; Serving as members in BoS, DC Panel, Viva Voce Oral Exam Board, Selection Committee, Assessment Committee and various other Committees in various Universities, Produced many Video lectures, delivered lectures, expert talks, disseminated technical speech, evaluated UG, PG, Ph.D Thesis, served as Conference Chairs in various National and International Conferences, and workshops, served as Jury member in evaluating the mini projects in Technical Exhibitions and etc., Area of Expertise are : Wireless Adhoc and Sensor Networks, Signal and Image Processiing, Embedded Controllers, IoT and Cyber Physical Systems, Machine Learning and Meta-heuristic Approaches, 11 Different Electronics simulators and Programming Languages like Embedded C, Verilog, VHDL, Matlab programming and Simulink modelling, LabVIEWProgramming, Sketch programming for Arduino, Python Programming,

Dr.G.A.Rathy

Dr G. A. Rathy, is working as Professor in the Department of Electrical Electronics and Communication Engineering, NITTTR, Chennai since 1998. Her area of Specialization is Power Electronics and Drives and she has organized more than 250 Faculty Development Programmes for Technical Teachers of the southern region of India. Apart from the core Engineering, she has expertise in the areas of curriculum development and curriculum evaluation. She designed, developed and evaluated the Power Electronics Engineering curriculum using Criterion Referenced Test and Revised Blooms Taxonomy. She effectively contributed as resource person in more than 15 International Overseas Teachers Courses and organized more than 5 International Overseas Teachers Courses. She specially designed skill oriented programmes for Electrical Engineering discipline such as PLC and SCADA, Power Electronics, PCB design, Industrial Automation, Electrical CAD, Special Electrical machines, IoT and Electric Vehicle Technology. She developed Power Electronics and Special Machines Lab, Industrial Automation Lab and Electrical Simulation lab. She has published more than 25 articles in National/International journals/conferences.
