Dr. Vidya Prabhakar Kodali

Dr. K. Vidya Prabhakar has received Ph.D (2009) from the Department of Biotechnology, IIT-Kharagpur. His research interests are Microbial Biotechnology, Bacterial Communication & Quorum Sensing,Bacterial Enzymes and Probiotics engineering and algal biotechnology. He has spent one year(2010) in INSERM, Paris for his Post-doctoral research in glycobiology and worked as Associate Professor in Vignan’s University (2010) and then moved to Vikrama Simhapuri University, Nellore (2014). He has published about 50 articles in reputed journals (Journal of Biological Chemistry, Genes and Diseases, Food Research International, Biotechnology, Journal) and received research grants from DST, DBT and NMPB. He is a recipient of various National and International awards (Young Scientist, Early Career Research Award) from SERB, New Delhi.
