Fundamental Research In Hybrid Composites
1. INTRODUCTION
Composite materials were the most efficient and discerning materials of
the century.Bakelite became the first synthetic plastics and was
designated as a national historic chemical landmark by the American
chemistry society. In this chapter, we will study the Fibre-reinforced
polymer matrix composite materials
In 1935, Owens Corning creates the fibre-reinforced polymer and produces
first fibre.In the 1940s, the automotive industry began with an entirely
composite body and shaped various concept parts and checked them
differently. Thanks to their high strength and toughness, the composite
materials were created in 2000. In the aerospace, transportation,
consumer goods and maritime sectors the ongoing advancement of
technology has extended application.
