Prakash Sigedar is consultant trauma and orthopedic surgeon practicing at Jalna, Maharashtra, India since 1997. He completed his graduation from SRTR medical college Ambejogai in 1992. He did his post graduation in orthopedics from government medical college Aurangabad Maharashtra in 1995. After getting experience of two years in Aurangabad after post graduation, he started his private practice in Jalna in 1997. He was Hon. Secretary of Maharashtra orthopedic association from 2017-2020.He is at present President of Aarogya Bharti Devgiri Prant (social organization in field of health ). He did Master in Business Administration (MBA) in human resources in 2016. He is now pursuing PhD in orthopedics under aegis of MUHS and under guidance of Dr. Parag Sancheti at SIOR PUNE. He has vast experience in organizational work and he was organizing secretary of national and state conference in orthopedics. .He has passion for health education and public awareness and wrote 10 books in local language for health education and public awareness. He presented his work in orthopedics at state, national and international platforms. He is founder member of geriatric orthopedic society of India and presented his work in Bangladesh and at many places in India like AIIMS New Delhi, PGI Chandigarh, and Bangalore etc. He got many laurels and recognitions for his work for physically challenged persons and for society at large. He is good at organizational skills and is member of many national and state medical bodies and served in various capacities for Indian medical association, Indian orthopedic association, Maharashtra orthopedic association, Jankalyan Samiti and many academic and social organizations. His mission is “people should not be suffering and those who are suffering should be benefitted by me” And His vision is to see “Disability free India”

Purushottam Giri [MBBS MD (PSM) MIPHA FIAPSM CCEBDM], He is currently working as Professor and Head, Department of Community Medicine, Indian Institute of Medical Science and Research (IIMSR) Medical College, Badnapur, Dist. Jalna, Maharashtra, India. He has 18 years of teaching experience and has been an examiner, both UG and PG, in more than 22 Medical Universities including deemed to be university in various states of India. He has published more than 198 scientific papers in various national and international indexed medical journals and has received citations of 2562 (h-index: 24, i10-index: 59) till-date. He has been an Executive Editor, Associate Editor, Assistant Editor and Editorial Board Member of more than 25 national/international indexed medical journals related to Community Medicine and Public Health. He is also a peer reviewer for more than 25 indexed medical journals. He has also written three medical books entitled “Epidemiology and Programmatic Management of NCDs in India” (2023) by Jaypee Publishers and “Case-Based Learning in Community Medicine” (2024) by CBS Publishers and “Practical Application in Community Medicine” (2024) by Jaypee Publishers. At present, he also holds the posts of Secretary General of National IAPSM (2022-25), President of IAPSM Maharashtra State Chapter (2024-27), Vice-President of IPHA Maharashtra State (2021-24), Zonal Representative (West Zone) of APCRI (2022-24 & 2024-26), Secretary of IAPSM Maharashtra State (2015-18 & 2021-24), Central Council Member (West Zone) at National IPHA (2023-25), and Accredited Faculty of Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC), Mumbai, Maharashtra since 2014.
