Dr. V.E.Ida Christi

Dr. V.E.Ida Christi is a professor dedicated her life for learning and gaining knowledge and helped to develop young minds through teaching with professional socialization. She is a Professor & Head in Department of Pharmacognosy, PSG College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore. She obtained her B.Sc., Botany degree from ( Sree Devi kumara W.College) Madurai Kamaraj University, B.Pharm at Periyar College of Pharmaceutical Sciences , Trichy and M.Pharm (Pharmacognosy) at K.M.College of Pharmacy , Madurai degrees from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai and Ph. D degree from Periyar Maniyammai University, Thanjavur. Further she has pursues Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management courses. She has around 25years of experience in Industry and Institutions. Dr. Ida has discharged various responsibilities, viz. Head, Department of Pharmacognosy in Karpagam College of Pharmacy and Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore. To her credit she has published a book titled “Herbal Drug Technology” and published 25 research papers in National and International journals. She has received “Best Faculty Award” from Science Father International Research Awards SHEN. She is the member of IPA , APTI , IPGA. FELLOW member of “Scholars Academic & Scientific Society ( SAS Society)”.She believes that one of an important source of developing professional identity is teaching practice, role models make things easier for students learning and enable the patient-facing professionals, experiential learning and curriculum alignment with work practices in the Pharma profession
