Dr. Sangita Ghadge

Dr. Sangita Anandrao Ghadge is currently working as an assistant professor & Head of the Botany Department in Loknete Gopinathji Munde Art’s, Commerce and Science College, Mandangad, Ratnagiri, Maharashtra State. She has total teaching experience of 12 years at UG level. She has completed her Ph.D. from Department of Botany, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University,Aurangabad (Sambhajinagar). To her credit she has 11 research papers published and has written 4 chapters in various books and. she also has 02 patent publication to her credit. She has vast experience in the eld of Plant Taxonomy, Physiology, Ethnobotany, Cytogenetics, Ecology. Apart from academic work, she has been engaged in administrative work at institution level.

Dr. Archana Gupte

Dr. Archana S. Gupte, Associate Professor in Department of Botany in G.M. Momin Women’s College. She has 20 years of teaching experience at UG level and 18 years at PG level. She has published 20 research papers in esteemed journals and 5 book chapters. Presented many papers at International and National level. Holds one patent publication of U.K. She has edited a book of Biological Sciences. Contributed to produce 4 Mumbai University rankers till today. Her areas of research include Palynology, Embryology, and Environmental science. Other than academic she contributed in extracurricular activities for students. She was the coordinator for 50th Youth Festival of University of Mumbai at Zonal level. She is IQAC member and convenor of many committees.

Dr. Vijay Hile

Dr. Vijay K. Hile is currently serving as Vice Principal at Bhavan’s Hazarimal Somani College, Mumbai. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Botany. He has 27 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and 6 years at the postgraduate level. Dr. Hile has published 15 research papers in international journals and successfully completed 4 research projects. He also holds one patent to his name. His areas of research interest include Environmental Science, Bryophytes, Medicinal plants and Ethnobotany.

Dr. V. Vishnuprasad

Dr. V. Vishnuprasad is currently serving as the Head of Department of Environmental Science at SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Empowered Autonomous), Sion (West), Mumbai. He has 10 years of teaching experience to students of UG Botany as well as PG students with specialization in Environmental Botany. Since 3 years, he is heading the newly formed department of Environmental Science which is offered as a rst of its kind program at UG level in Mumbai. He has pursued his Ph.D in Forest Botany (Wood Anatomy) from the Forest Research Institute (Deemed) University, Dehradun in October 2017. He has published 5 research papers, 1 book, 2 book chapters and multiple presentations in conferences. With a passion for teaching, his research interest areas are environmental science and ecology, forestry, wood science and anatomy
