The purpose of writing this book is to provide discussion points which will be useful in teaching sessions with post graduate students of community medicine. The points are selected considering the broader dimension of public health. A clear cut demarcation of the entire subject into 20 chapters has been made to organize the understanding of the subject. Multiple Response Question (MRQ) format has been selected to organize the contents. Keeping in mind Walt Whitman's quote "Simplicity is the glory of expression", the text is written in a simple language.
