The purpose of writing this book is to provide discussion points which will be useful in teaching sessions with post graduate students of community medicine. Since a clear understanding of general knowledge is essential in public health, a blending of general knowledge topics connected to public health can be seen in this book. A clear cut demarcation of the entire subject into 20 chapters has been made to organize the understanding of the subject.
