The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is the most commonly injured ligament in the knee (1).The incidence of ACL tears singly is estimated to be 30 per 100,000 people in the Western population in a year (2),(3). Injury is defined as damage to the tissue caused by an force acting on the body externally (4). With 60% of injuries to the knee and ankle joints, sports have one of the highest injury rates (5). Specifically, the Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) is the most frequent injury in sports. Severe knee injuries called ACLs typically happen once the knee is bent when landing and twisting (6). Further, most ACL injuries are caused by noncontact accidents, accounting for 37.5%–85% of all ACL injuries. Changes in movement patterns are connected to the non-contact mechanism (7),(8). She has completed her project on physiotherapy management of ACL reconstruction Patients using ballistic training and theraband exercises. Her 5 articles which include research protocol and case reports are published in cureus journal of medical sciences, JCDR. Her paper presentation work on telerabilitation on patients with ACL reconstruction was presented in Sangam Physiocon National Conference and secured 1st prize in it. Poster presentation on the effect of ballistic training on the patients with ACL reconstruction was presented in MIPTCON 2023 National conference and secured 3rd prize in the poster presentation.

Dr. Deepali Swapnil Patil has completed her Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and is currently working as an associate professor at Ravi Nair Physiotherapy College, Sawangi Meghe Wardha. She has many research publications which include case reports, literature review, original articles, clinical image published in the journal like Cureus, IJFMT, JRTDD and PAMJ which are pubmed and scopus indexed.

Dr. Pratik Phansopkar

Dr. Pratik Arun Phansopkar is working as a Professor & HOD in the Department of Orthopaedic Physiotherapy at School of Physiotherapy, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) Medical College, and Hospital, Sangli, Maharashtra. He previously served as Professor & HOD Musculo PT, Vice Dean of Research and Development RNPC, DMIHER University, where he played a key role in contributing to the institution's R&D growth and success. He accomplished a FIFADiploma in Football Medicine from the Federation International de Football Association, Zurich, Switzerland, in 2020. As an inveterate learner, he pursued and earned his PhD in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2024 from DMIHER University, Wardha, Maharashtra. He played a vital role in establishing the Centre for Advance Physiotherapy Education & Research (CAPER), Wardha. He has more than 75 Publications. Indexed Publications in high impact factor journals 11 PubMed, 34 Scopus and 30 Web of Science, Conducted various Manual Therapy workshop and Research Workshops at university, Course Coordinator and subject expert for Fellowship in Manual Therapy, DMIHER (DU), had the opportunity for Heading Physio Team at BPL, Vidharba Cricket Association in the year 2021 and 2022, and National Para Athletics Championship 2022, IMAHealth Marathon, Yavatmal 2023 and associated with Sports Science of India, Awarded Best Teacher on National Education Day by DMIHER University.
