Dr. Manjusha Nikale

Dr. Manjusha Vasant Nikale is currently working as an Associate Professor in Botany at Ramnarain Ruia Autonomous College, Matunga, Mumbai, Maharashtra state. She has total teaching experience of 31 years at UG level and 25 years at PG level. She has completed her PhD from University of Mumbai. She has 10 research papers to her credit. She has vast experience in the field of Plant Anatomy, Medicinal Botany, Ethnobotany and Pharmacognosy. Apart from academic work, she has been engaged in administrative work as well. She was a research guide to UG students under Vidnyan Bharati, who had organized a research project competition. She is a member of Sustainable Development Goals Committee. At institute level, she has been a Coordinator for NCC girls Unit as a Captain. She has framed syllabus of Ethnobotany and Ethnopharmacology for PG students.

Dr. Vilas R. Whankatte

Dr. Vilas R. Whankatte (M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D.) is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at Gokhale Education Society’s Arts, Commerce & Science College, Shreevardhan, District Raigad. He possesses over 21 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level, demonstrating a strong commitment to academic excellence and student development. He is an esteemed member of the Board of Studies in Botany at M.C.E. Society’s Abeda Inamdar Senior College of Arts, Science & Commerce (Autonomous), Pune, Maharashtra, since the academic year 2024–25. In addition to his academic responsibilities, he has made significant contributions to research, with 18 research papers published in reputed national and international journals. Dr. Whankatte has actively participated in various national and international conferences, where he has presented both poster and research papers, reflecting his continuous engagement with the scientific community. His research interests primarily focus on Biodiversity, Phytochemistry, and the Antioxidant Activities of Plants and Marine Macroalgae, contributing to advancements in the field of plant sciences and marine biology.

Dr. Arvind Samb Kulkarni

Dr. Arvind Samb Kulkarni is a highly experienced academician and administrator with an extensive career spanning over 42 years in higher education, research, and institutional development. He has been awarded with D. Sc. from Ashcroft University, London. He holds a D.Litt. from the University of South America as well as D. Litt. From Ashcroft University, London and a Ph.D. in Zoology, reflecting his deep academic expertise and commitment to scholarly excellence. Over the course of his career, he has been associated with reputed higher education institutions in the capacity of Associate Professor and Vice-Principal at Gogate- Jogalekar college, Ratnagiri and Principal, at Shriram Kusumtai Sadashiv Vanjare College, Lanja where he played a vital role in academic planning, student development, administrative management, and quality enhancement initiatives. His areas of contribution extend beyond classroom teaching to include research guidance, evaluation processes, extension activities, and institutional governance. He has published several research papers in national and international journals and has authored and edited various books in the field of Zoology. His contributions have further been recognized through several national and international honors such as the Shikshak Shri Award, Shiksha Ratna Award, Rashtriya Vidya Gaurav Gold Medal, Best Educationist Award, Golden Pride of India Education Excellence Award, Gem of India Gold Medal, and Bharat Vidya Vibhushan Award. In recent years, he has received accolades like the Best Principal Award by the University of Mumbai, Top 10 Principals Shaping Minds in India (2024) by Hindustan Times Ltd., Platinum Leadership Award, Universal Icon Achiever Award 2024, National Prestige Award 2024, and the Legendary World Education Leadership Award, highlighting his continued impact and leadership in the field of education at both national and international levels.

Dr. Kalpit Ganesh Mhatre

Dr. Kalpit Ganesh Mhatre is currently working as an assistant professor in botany at New Education Society's Shriram Kusumtai Sadashiv Vanjare College, Lanja District Ratnagiri, Maharashtra State. He has total teaching experience of 10 years at UG level. He has completed his Ph.D. from St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Mumbai. He is the author of 14 books and editor of 19 books. To his credit he has 21 research papers in UGC CARE list and has written 59 chapters in various books. He also has 03 patent publication to his credit. He has vast experience in the field of Plant Taxonomy, Ethnobotany, Molecular Systematics, Ecology and Anthropology. Apart from academic work, he has been engaged in administrative work also. At institute level, he is being working as a Nodal Officer for various schemes such as Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA), All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE), National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Kalam Program for IP Literacy and Awareness (KAPILA) and Atal Ranking of Institution on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA). Dr. Mhatre is a President of Institutional Innovation Council (IIC). He has been designated as a District Sustainability Mentor (DSM) for Ratnagiri District by Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India, Hyderabad.
