Dr Sithara Balan V

Dr Sithara Balan V is currently working as Associate Professor in Home Science (Extension Education) with 19 years of teaching and research experience. She also serves as the Hon.Director for Gender Studies Centre at Govt College for Women, Thiruvananthapuram, Affiliated to the University of Kerala. Her area of research interest includes aging research, gender, mental health and BCC interventions. She has authored several books and research articles and has received a design patent from Govt of India.

Dr. Garima Gupta

Dr. Garima Gupta is an extension educator and researcher with extensive experience in community engagement across diverse socio-cultural settings in India. Her research focuses on Extension Education, social accountability in public service delivery, behaviour change communication, and social entrepreneurship. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Home Science at Government College for Women, Thiruvananthapuram, affiliated with the University of Kerala, where she also serves as a Ph.D. guide at the PG Home Science Research Centre and as the NSS Programme Officer. She completed her doctoral studies at SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, where she served as a Research Assistant and Visiting Faculty. She has published research articles, book chapters, coedited books, and developed e-learning modules for the UGC e-PG Pathshala platform.
