Genetics and Molecular Biology are two closely related branches of biological sciences that deal with heredity and the molecular mechanisms of life. Genetics focuses on the study of genes, inheritance, and variation in living organisms, while Molecular Biology explains how genetic information is stored, expressed, and regulated at the molecular level. Together, these fields provide a comprehensive understanding of how traits are passed from one generation to another and how cellular functions are controlled by biomolecules like DNA, RNA, and proteins.
