A woman when takes birth, she is a daughter, becomes a wife in a few years and later on, becomes a mother. Manu in 2000 BC stated that a woman is never independent. As a daughter she is dependent upon her father, as a wife she is dependent upon her husband and in the late years when the king is no more, she is now dependent upon sons.
