The book New Horizons in Life Sciences has been conceived to provide a comprehensive overview of these emerging frontiers and to present the rapidly changing landscape of contemporary biological science in an accessible yet academically meaningful manner. The central purpose of this book is to introduce readers to the major technologies, concepts, methodologies, applications, opportunities, and challenges that are shaping the future of life sciences. Rather than treating individual disciplines as isolated areas of knowledge, the book emphasizes their interconnected nature and demonstrates how advances in one field increasingly stimulate progress in others. The integration of biology with computation, engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, environmental sciences, and space research represents one of the defining characteristics of twenty-first-century life sciences.
