Dr. Kalpit Ganesh Mhatre

Dr. Kalpit Ganesh Mhatre is currently working as an assistant professor in botany at New Education Society's Shriram Kusumtai Sadashiv Vanjare College, Lanja District Ratnagiri, Maharashtra State. He has total teaching experience of 10 years at UG level. He has completed his Ph.D. from St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Mumbai. He is the author of 39 books and editor of 20 books. To his credit he has 22 research papers in UGC CARE list and has written 60 chapters in various books. He also has 03 patent publication to his credit. He has vast experience in the field of Plant Taxonomy, Ethnobotany, Molecular Systematics, Ecology and Anthropology. Apart from academic work, he has been engaged in administrative work also. At institute level, he is being working as a Nodal Officer for various schemes such as Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA), All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE), National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), Kalam Program for IP Literacy and Awareness (KAPILA) and Atal Ranking of Institution on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA). Dr. Mhatre is a President of Institutional Innovation Council (IIC). He has been designated as a District Sustainability Mentor (DSM) for Ratnagiri District by Mahatma Gandhi National Council of Rural Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India, Hyderabad.

Dr. Varsha Sadashiv Patil is currently working as an assistant professor in botany at Shirdi Sai Rural Institutes Arts, Science and Commerce College, Rahata, Ahilyanagar District, Maharashtra State. She has total teaching experience of 17 years at UG and PG level. She has completed her Ph.D. from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. She has admitted as Fellow of Hind Agri Horticultural Society (FHAS). She has recognition as a Ph. D. Research Guide by Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and two students are registered for the Ph. D. Degree under her guidance. She has received Research Excellence Award- 2021 by Institute of Scholars. She has recognized as a Reviewer for the International Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences and Editor for the edited book titled “Futuristic Trends in Agriculture Engineering and Food Sciences”. Vol.3. Book 11. Interative International Publishers.To her credit she has 25 research papers in various International, UGC CARE and Peer Reviewed Journals. She has written different book chapters in various books. She has completed 1 minor research project funded by BCUD, Pune. She has vast experience in the field of Genetics, Plant Breeding, Phycology, Plant Taxonomy, Medicinal Botany and Seed Technology. Ms. Nupoor Muralidhar Telawane is an Assistant Professor of Botany at K.M.E.Society’s G. M. Momin Women’s College, Bhiwandi with a passion for teaching, research, and scientific communication. She holds a Master's degree in Botany (Angiosperm Taxonomy and Phytochemistry) from St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Mumbai, where she post- graduated with distinction and was the University of Mumbai topper (Gold Medalist) in Botany at the graduate level. A Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (SET)-qualified academic, she has authored several book chapters on Biodiversity, Ecology, Mycology, Food security, and Plant sciences, and has presented her research at national and international conferences. Her academic interests include plant taxonomy, biotechnology, environmental science, herbal cosmetology, and sustainable development. An active participant in academic conferences, faculty development programmes, and workshops, she has contributed as a resource person, coordinator, mentor, and member of academic committees such as ‘The Indo-US Nobel Laureate Workshop’, ‘Camag HPTLC System at India-Specific HPTLC Applications Research Laboratory’, Institute of Human Security and Governance (IIHSG) International Conference 2024, Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), New Delhi and Member of the Board of Studies (Faculty of science, Subject botany- 2023-24 till 2025-26) of KET's V. G. Vaze College of Arts, Science and Commerce (Autonomous).
