In patients with total edentulism, dental implant treatment is an option which has been accepted scientifically, and with long-term outcomes. implant-supported fixed full-arch restorations are becoming the gold standard in dental implantology. Normally in literature successful prostheses are made using 6-8 implants in the maxilla and 6 implants in the mandible and applying posterior cantilever extension where it is necessary. in these treatments, hygiene controls can be easily performed especially in full arch screw-retained fixed prostheses.

Chitlange is a senior resident in the Department of Prosthodontics, Sharad Pawar Dental College and Hospital, DMIHER (DU), Wardha, Maharashtra specializing in implant prosthodontics and full mouth rehabilitation. Her academic interests include implantology, immediate digital implant dentistry and advances in implant-supported prostheses. She has actively participated in clinical and academic research related to contemporary concepts in implant dentistry and prosthodontic rehabilitation.

Dr. Seema Sathe Kambala, MDS, PhD (Prosthodontics) is currently working as a Professor and Head in Dept. of Prosthodontics, Sharad Pawar Dental College and Hospital, DMIHER (DU), Wardha, Maharashtra. Her research interests include advances in Prosthodontics in the specialty of Esthetic Dentistry and Forensic Dentistry. She is currently guiding various postgraduate and fellow students. She has various national and international publications in the form of original research articles and projects. Dr. Anjali Bhoyar Borle, MDS, MPhil (HPE) is a Professor, Post Graduate Teacher and PhD Supervisor in the Specialty of Prosthodontics and Crown & Bridge at Sharad Pawar Dental College and Hospital, DMIHER (DU), Wardha, Maharashtra. She has more than two decades of Academic, Administrative, Clinical and Research experience. Her special interests include implant-supported full arch prostheses, digital workflow in prosthodontics, and evidence-based treatment planning. She has contributed to several academic publications and is dedicated to advancing contemporary prosthodontic education and patient care.
