The Tamils Struggle for Tamil Regions of the Twentieth Century accelerated into a fall – swing in 1930’s and reached its zenith in 1950’s. The region became the Madras State of the Republic India and in 1956, the state borders were re drawn linguistically by the States Reorganisation Act (1956) into the state was renamed as Tamil Nadu meaning Tamil Country in 1969. The collective team work of Tamil’s under the leadership of M. P. Sivagnanam in the North and A. Nesamony in the South paved the way for restoration of the Disputed Tamil Regions to the Tamils in the contemporary Tamil Nadu Political Scenario.

Dr.N.Raja was born to Mr.K. Narayanasamy and Mrs.N.Sellammal at Enamangalam, Cuddalore District. He studied B.A. History at AVC College, Mannampandal, Mayiladuthurai. He got M.A., M.Phil., B.Ed., Ph.D. Degrees in Annamalai University. He was appointed as a Lecturer in History at Annamalai University on 2008. Now he has been working as a Assistant Professor of History in Thiru Kolanjiappar Govt. Arts College, Vriddhachalam. He has to his credit by publishing 15 Research Papers in reviewed Journals. He has produced 7 M.Phil and One Ph.D. candidates.

Dr. T. Sivakamasundari

Dr.T.Sivakamasundari was studied U.G., P.G.and M.Phil at Dharmapuram Gnanambigai Govt. Arts College, Mayiladuthurai. She got her Ph.D. Degree in Annamalai University. She was appointed as a Lecturer in Dharmapuram Gnanambigai Govt. Arts College, Mayiladuthurai on 2007. Since 2009 she has been working in Periyar Arts College, Cuddalore. Now she was promoted as a Associate Professor. She has to her credit as publishing 10 Research Papers in Reviewed Journals both in National and International.
