Technology has been an important factor in daily life since the last few decades, and we all rely on it to make full use of it. This modern era is full of new technological advancements, which shed light on the environment through the Internet of Things (IoT). A planet full of sensors and other objects interact with each other to make human life better and easier than ever before. An IoT system comprises of a variety of functional blocks to promote numerous utilities for the device such as sensing, recognition, communication, actuation and management. IoT smart cities can be built where parking spaces, street lighting, sanitation and waste management can be monitored in real-time applications. One can also build smart homes that are truly safe and secure (Juneja et al., 2011). The definition of IoT (Chen et al., 2014) is simple, but its capability is limitless and its use can change the whole paradigm of technology. IoT is an integral part of the IT industry and a significant stage in the production of information yet IoT is addressing a range of possible threats and attacks. As the industry expands, these networks get connected to security, management, and so on.
