This book, Clinical Chronomedicine: Circadian Rhythm in Human Systems and Disease, has been written with the explicit aim of bridging the gap between chronobiological science and bedside medicine. It presents circadian rhythm not as an abstract concept, but as a practical clinical framework relevant to physicians across specialties—including internal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, oncology, critical care, and primary care. The chapters progress systematically from the biological foundations of circadian rhythm, through system-wise physiological and pathological implications, to clinically actionable preventive and therapeutic strategies.
