Dr. Prasanna Kumar BM is presently serving as a University Librarian at BLDE (Deemed to be University), Vijayapura, and he has 17 years of Professional experience in reputed ins tu ons like NIMHANS, Amrita University and New Horizon College of Engineering. He is a science graduate and has completed his Master’s (2007) from Kuvempu University Shimoga and Doctoral Studies (2019) from Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore. He was eligible for UGC NET and KSET in 2013. He did his PG Diploma in Digital Library and Informa on Management (PGDLIM) (2020) from the Tata Ins tute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. His research contribu ons of more than 30 papers include ar cles in na onal and interna onal journals, edited volumes, etc. He has been the coordinator for several workshops and conferences. He Received Shri S L Vij Orienta on Award for the Best Librarian-2021-22, at AIIMS, Rishikesh.
