Orthodontics is one area of dentistry that has advanced significantly in the modern era. To achieve the goals of a functional and aesthetically acceptable dentition, orthodontic therapy is required as there is always a relationship between dental malocclusion, psycho-social wellbeing, and self-esteem. So, patients seeking aesthetic dentistry and correction of malaligned teeth are in greater numbers (Jaswani et al., 2023). When considering orthodontics, adult patients’ top concern is how long the treatment would take (Zimmo et al., 2021). So, orthodontists are always trying to come up with new ways to accelerate orthodontic tooth movement. This led the researchers to study the hypothesis of accelerating the mechanisms of bone resorption and apposition and the variation of chemical mediators capable of stimulating the formation of colonies of osteoclasts and osteoblasts.(José Rossi et al., 2019)
